Most of the original finish remains on the action and barrel with some significant wear in area. the bore is clean and shiny with good rifling. The stock and forend as mentioned have been sporterized, possessing some small scratches and dents along with a hand-scored design just beneath the receiver on each side and the semi-pistol grip has been significantly hand repaired. The rifle is otherwise mechanically functional and ready to fire.
