TIRMAX
antique BELGIAN .32 ACP autoloading carbine - probably never to be seen again
Description: DREYSE AUTOLOADER COLECTORS - YOU MUST SEE THIS! Here is an ULTRA RARE European rifle almost never seen in the US. It is one of the first small frame quality Belgium made autoloaders and the ONLY such model I have EVER seen ANYWHERE! It fires the .32 ACP ( same round used by the Colt 1903 automatics) It was also made in the .38 ACP. The design is similar to the also very rare Dreyse carbine. Only the Tirmax is MUCH MUCH more rare than the Dreyse It has nicely figured stocks and the original finish is still mostly present. It has genuine carved horn appointments( grip cap and butt plate) The bore is good. Of one thing you can be sure. NOBODY else will have one! After much research - the ONLY such model I could find was from an old catalogue - and I have collected rare and unusual pieces from all over the world for nearly 40 years - in addition to my Winchester and Colt collections. It is NEAT - PETITE - ANTIQUE and UNIQUE! See if you do not find the pictures fascinating. It is not in my normal line of collectables - so I am selling it to the discriminating collector who can recognize it as the prize it is. When it is gone into his ownership - there probably are NO MORE! This is probably the only one for sale in the USA! It is the most rare major manufacturer production firearm I have ever owned! Here is most of the only scarce information on theregarding the existence of this model . Price includes postage and insurance on this gun ONLY> PLease phone with questions 813-8861235 ( FL) I offer a 3 day satisfaction non-firinging inspection. Will consider trades on this one See below for additional information/comments etc I found on Webb. cat9x September 10, 2013, 12:45 PM Kudos to Tim Watson...The Tirmax was a very well made 32ACP carbine made in Belgium in the early 20th century. I have a friend who owns one, they're quite rare in the United States. ://i181.photobucket/albums/x82/cat9x/IMG_0010-01_zps6f43f8de.jpg Post by Hardrada55 on Jul 26, 2008 at 9:00am Pre-WWI Belgian or maybe German made (I have never seen either definitively established) .32 or .380 (9mm short) 6 round mag. Beautiful looking gun. This is the only picture I've ever seen of a Tirmax. And it doesn't even really look that much like the drawing in the 1911 Alfa catalog. Post by Hardrada55 on Apr 3, 2009 at 11:26am Here is one for sale in Argentina for $3000 US. ( that is about $4,000 in today's depreciated dollars) fullaventurashop.ar/Carabina-Semiautomtica-Tirmax,name,106218,_id,_details SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
