CZ VZ.24 Rifle The VZ.24 rifle is a bolt-action carbine designed and manufactured in Czechoslovakia from 1924 to 1942.
Design Origin: Developed from the Mauser Gewehr 98 line, featuring a similar bolt design. It was intended to replace the earlier VZ. 98/22. Barrel Length: Shorter than the Gewehr 98, with a barrel length of 590 mm (23.2 inches), making it more manageable. Caliber: Primarily chambered in 7.92x57mm Mauser (8mm Mauser). However, export versions were also produced in 7x57mm Mauser and 7.65x53mm Argentine. Some sporterized versions found in the modern market may be re-chambered for other calibers like .30-06 Springfield. Action: Bolt-action.
