Description:
6.5x68 R  caliber, 27" part octagon barrel secured by two Purdey underlocking lugs and a top bolt. Integral claw scope mounts and a quarter rib mounted 3 leaf express sight.  Fully engraved  hand detachable sidelock action with top lever opening and sliding top tang safety.  Double set triggers (the rear sets the front).  Full length two piece checkered forend with ebony forend cap.  Checkered pistol grip buttstock with shadow cheek piece and ending with a smooth butt.  LOP: 15" from the front trigger.  In superb condition with all of the blue remaining on the barrel, excellent engraving with much of the casehardened finish remaining.  Mint wood, excellent bright bore and sharp rifling.  Accompanied by it's brass bound oak & leather luggage case complete with accessories.  The scope is a Zeiss Diavari-ZM  2.5-10 x48.  Total weight with scope 10lbs 3oz.
