Verney Carron Impact Plus is a bolt-action rifle released in 1996. This example is chambered for 270 Win and has a two-piston ejection system. Its bolt is titanium coated and has three locking lugs that lock directly into the free-floating barrel. The rifle comes with a Battue rib and a rear adjustable square notch sight. The front sight is a fiber optic blade dovetailed to a riser attached to the barrel. At the rear of the rifle, there is a central safety button that locks the bolt and trigger. In addition, there is a cocking and a loading indicator above. The stock is a checkered walnut pistol grip with a right hand palm swell and cheek rest "Bavarian style".
