Description:
This is an FW Heym Krupp Special, apparently an SR20 or variant. Dating is nearly impossible with these rifles, as Heym has never publicly release serial number data, but these were made from the 1970's into the 1990's. The top of the barrel is marked "Krupp Special C Laufstahl", showing that it was made with top-quality Krupp barrel steel. "Made in Germany" is stamped on the right side of the receiver. Proof marks and serial number on the left side of the receiver can be seen in the photos. These are generally regarded to be excellent quality German hunting rifles, known for their accuracy and reliability. They typically were shipped with barrels in the range of 24 to 25 inches, which means that this one was shortened and threaded by a previous owner. Close inspection of the threading shows a clean and professional job of it. The action is smooth and the bore is bright. No box or case is included. This is a great value on a solid German rifle, ready for you to add your suppressor and go varmint hunting. .22-250 Remington
