GERMAN ZIMMER SCHUETZEN RIFLE IN 4MM BY GOHRING
Description: These 4MM Zimmer Schuetzen Rifles are very fine works of art. Made for indoor beer garden shooting in Germany, they are highly accurate. They use, a readily available, 4MM cartridge (no powder, just powdered by a primer). This gun has a 27 1/2" barrel, however the actual barrel that the cartridge travels is only 7". It is loaded by opening the lever and inserting a cartridge. Cocking is in the traditional way by the lever rapping around the trigger guard. The lock system is a typical set configuration with pulling of the rear trigger to set the front trigger. The front trigger has a pull of less than 1 oz. The sights consist of a rear peep sight, rear fixed sight and blade front sight. These guns were typically heavy, and this one tips the scales at 9 LBS 3 1/4 OZ.
