WORLD WAR II Italian Military CARCANO Model 91 7.92mm C&R CAVALRY Carbine
Italian MUSKETOON Used During the Second World War
Description: WORLD WAR II Italian Military CARCANO Model 91 7.92mm C&R CAVALRY Carbine Italian MUSKETOON Used During the Second World War Here we present a C&R Italian Carcano Model 91 Carbine, manufactured circa just prior to World War II likely at an Italian Military Arsenal during a production run between 1891 and 1944. Carcano is the frequently used name for a series of Italian bolt-action, magazine-fed, repeating military rifles and carbines. Introduced in 1891, this rifle was chambered for the rimless 6.5×52mm Carcano round. It was developed by the chief technician Salvatore Carcano at the Turin Army Arsenal in 1890 and was originally called the Modello (model) 91 or simply M91. Successively replacing the previous Vetterli-Vitali rifles and carbines, the M91 was used in both rifle (fucile) and shorter-barreled carbine (moschetto) form by most Italian troops during World War I and by Italian and some German forces during World War II. The overall condition is very good. Robust action. Bright bore. The stock is sturdy in good shape and contains a small, stable crack just behind the barrel tang. Legible markings. No magazine is included. The cleaning rod is absent. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 18 inches. Caliber: 7.92mm Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1150 #217570 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
