Original Large .75 Caliber Japanese Signed Matchlock Tanegashima

Description:
Gun retains a pleasing patina overall. Brass has a nice mellow color to it. Missing 3 circular brass inlays from the stock on the left side of the butt. 29 5/8 inch long barrel, measures 1 1/2 inches across the muzzle. The trigger is broken off. Lock works. Roughly 43 inches long overall. Approximately .75 caliber bore is smooth and dirty. Wood is solid, although there are some cracks where the barrel goes into the stock, nothing major. Stock has most of the original red laquer on the inside of the barrel channel. Missing the 2 barrel pins. The barrel is signed on the bottom, from what we've been told, it reads Shiraishi Sumioka Hikugoro Fujiwara Yoshisuke. Wood ramrod looks like it's probably a later replacement.

We do not put any ammo in it or disassemble to check internal parts. We will sometimes take off barrels or stocks in an attempt to prevent damage in shipping. We only sell used guns, and have no way to know how many rounds have been through them.  WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. ALL FIREARMS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR FEDERAL ANTIQUE STATUS have to be shipped to a dealer for transfer within NY. Other states are fine, depending on your state laws. We will not ship to a New York, NJ, or CA C&R holder, a standard FFL is required.  There are some states in which a C&R handgun MUST be shipped to a dealer, such as MD. Please know your local laws.
