Gordy and Sons is a full-line stocking Rigby dealer!
Rigby Highland Stalker 250th Anniversary Edition, #45 of 250, chambered in the timeless .275 Rigby. Floorplate bears the Rigby anniversary seal / 45 of 250 / .275 Rigby in yellow gold framing John Rigby's own signature in white gold. Serial number on trigger guard is gold-inlaid in traditional fashion. Bolt knob bears three panels of checkering around the 250th anniversary seal. The rear sight features a 65yd fixed ramp behind 150yd and 250yd folding leafs, the latter of which has "th" after the "250" for a subtle Easter egg. The stock is made from well figured, fiddlebacked grade 7 Turkish walnut with semigloss oil finish over a traditional red butt pad in the Silvers style.
The trigger is a modern style steel unit exhibiting a very crisp pull averaging 3.5 lbs. The safety is a modern Winchester 70-style 3-position for perfect scope clearance. The 22" cold hammer forged barrel bears island mounted express sights, one standing leaf and two folding leaves at rear with beaded blade at front protected by a traditional hood. Front sling mount is island-mounted to the barrel with enlarged eyelet to accommodate a traditional and very functional Rigby-branded leather sling with thong ends. Rear sling attachment is mounted to toe line with matching enlarged eyelet. Magazine floorplate opens with a traditional trigger guard-mounted Oberndorf release. Trigger guard bears serial number per tradition. The stock is closely modeled after original prewar Rigby sporters, and is a faithful rendition thereof. The recoil pad is traditionally red with Silvers-style rubber construction.
Comes complete with full length Rigby-branded soft sleeve inside factory hard case. Leather portfolio contains the factory test target and other paperwork. Upon purchase, register your new rifle with J. Rigby & Co in London to be added to the prestigious Rigby logbook!
