Rigby Falling Block .416 Rigby No. 2. An exceptional single shot of the Farquharson design and number 2 of a limited edition of ten, serial 18782 has a 25-inch barrel (.715-inch muzzle diameter, island front sight assembly with brass-beaded blade and flip-up moon, banded sling hook, rib with fixed and folding leafs marked 65/150/250 and dovetailed for included optic mount). Features include a polished blue finish (barrel), niter blue accents (safety, lever release, trigger, screws) and a mechanical safety. STOCK: Formed from an extraordinary blank set with bold full-length figure, dressings include fine wrap checkering with a partially-Mullered border, trap door grip cap with special enamel center bearing the addorsed R's and edition number (extra front sight bead inside), toe line sling hook, initial plate and a leather-wrapped recoil pad. ENGRAVING: The action, rib and cap wear Rigby's outstanding leaf and vine to full coverage, the pattern reappearing on the front sight and band. Maker's name (3x), sighting lines, caliber, “SAFE” and serial are highlighted in gold. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 9.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 14.45 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal and wood finishes are as new with only hints of handling. CASE: A fine leather case with maker's label, screwdriver, key and cleaning tools is present and in excellent condition. AMMUNITION: Fifty rounds of Rigby ammo (Woodleigh 400-grain HSB, MV 2376 FPS) is included.
