J.C. Higgins Model 28 Semi -Auto - .22 LR Rifle - Smooth walnut 2 piece pistol grip style stock and extended forend. 24 in long barrel 41.75b in. overall length . 15 round LR only tubular magazine. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% plus bluing . Open rear adj. sight and ramped front blade sight. Bore is clean and bright . Stock, forend and butt plate are in excellent condition. Very few minor handling marks. This rifle is in exceptional condition for it's age. Scarce. Manufactured by High Standard from 1952 to 1959.
