Marlin ~ Model 39D ~ .22 S,L,LR
Description: The Marlin Model 1891, later the Model 39 represents the longest continuously produced shoulder firearm in the world. Most of us are familiar with Marlin's legendary 39 lever action rifle, but may not know of this pedigree. These are probably the best lever action .22's you could buy and their longevity is testament to that. The 39D was officially introduced in 1971 with some sold in 1970. They were discontinued in 1973 with final production figures somewhere over 23,000. They are considered by some Marlin collectors to be a "cheaper" version of the the Model 39. This example is from 1971 and still in great shape. If you're a Marlin collector, this would be a nice addition to your safe; if you are a hobbyist that is looking for the next all-around great rimfire rifle, this is a leading candidate. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle Metal Condition: good Wood Condition: good Bore Condition: bright Barrels: 20" barrel Stock Dimensions: 13.75 Fore End: smooth wood Butt Pad: plastic Weight: 5 lb - 6 oz Sights: factory sights Item Location: La Vista, NE Price: $1,299.99 Contact Seller |
