Description:
The Page-Lewis Model D Reliance single-shot .22 caliber bolt-action rifle was manufactured from 1923 to1928. It was designed as an entry-level "boy's rifle," known for its simplicity, affordability, and safety features for young shooters. This rifle has a 20 inch barrel with a bright excellent bore. Overall metal retains a good amount of original thinning blue with light handling marks and high edge wear. The bolt is a dull gray and the knob has toned brown. The smooth hardwood straight grip stock is in good condition with scattered handling marks and flaking finish. The original sights are intact and the action appears to function well mechanically. The Model D was the last model produced by the Page-Lewis Company before it was acquired by Savage/Stevens in 1928.
