Rossi M92 SRC .357 magnum/38 special
Description: SALE PENDING - Rossi / Interarms Inc R92 Lever Action SRC .357 magnum/.38 special Serial # 0615 This carbine is a pretty accurate clone of the Winchester 1892 carbine with a 20" round barrel. It is in stainless steel and has a bright finish. Condition: The rifle has not seen much use there are some little bumps and such on the stocks from handling and has a minty bore. There is an eye on the left side of the carbine where a saddle ring is usually present, the ring is missing. Later models this eye and saddle ring are missing entirely. Its possible that there has been a "spring kit" installed since the operation and lock up of the carbine is smooth and easy. This handy carbine, in my opinion, is almost the perfect truck/farm/ranch gun for several reasons. First it is made in stainless steel which will make a good all weather gun. In addition it is in .357 magnum or 38 special both excellent calibers for varmints, both the 4 and 2 legged kind. In addition it is light and small in size so easy to carry either in the hand, on a 4 wheeler or in a saddle scabbard on horseback. This is a direct copy of the classic Winchester 1892, which I think is one of the best designs for pistol caliber rifles. You could use a vintage Winchester 92 for the same purpose. But using the same classic design like this Rossi M92 in the elements or banging around in the truck or in the brush without risking a vintage rifle. Neat handy carbine at a good price!
