Ruger Mark IV Standard 70th Anniversary Special Edition, .22LR, Pistol with After-Market Crimson Trace Reflex (Red Dot) Sight

This Ruger Mark IV (MKIV) Standard 70th Anniversary Special Edition commemorates Ruger’s seventy years of business.  It has a 4.75-inch tapered barrel, checkered grips, fixed front and rear sights, and an enlarged pull ring - makes charging easy for right and left-handed shooters, including people with physical or strength limitations.  The overall length of the gun is about 9 inches; the total height, including reflex sight, is just under 7 inches.  The total weight (with empty magazine and reflex sight) is 1 pound, 15.6 ounces.  The gun comes with its original commemorative wood box and cardboard sleeve, original User's Manual, other original papers, four 10-round magazines (total), one cable lock, and an aftermarket Crimson Trace reflex sight.  There are no other accessories.  According to the online “Ruger Mark IV Pistol” serial number listing, this gun was first shipped in 2019.

The overall condition of the gun itself is 99+ percent.  It has had only 200 to 300 rounds fired through it.  The only marks on the gun is a ¼ inch scrape on the left side of the frame, just above and to the rear of the safety (visible in photo) and a couple speck marks on the underside of the barrel, just behind the barrel band.  There are no other marks, blemishes, or signs of wear on any parts of the gun.  The high-resolution photos do not do justice.  The after-market checkered grip panels are also like new, with no marks, blemishes, or signs of wear.  The checking is deep and crips, with no damage.  The bore is clean, bright, and shiny.

The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as it is like cash, and I don’t have to wait for them to clear.  However, I will accept a personal check, another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; that includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.  Check or money order must be made payable to Jerry Pownall or Barboursville Arms.
