Ruger No. 1 AB "Light Sporter" .223

Up for sale is a highly collectible and rarely seen Ruger No. 1-AB chambered in .223 Remington.While most Ruger No. 1 enthusiasts are familiar with the standard 1-A (Light Sporter) and 1-B (Standard), the 1-AB is a rare factory hybrid that was produced in very limited numbers. This specific configuration features the 22" lightweight "A" contour barrel, but is fitted with the wider beavertail forend and a smooth, clean barrel with no factory iron sights, traits borrowed directly from the "B" models. I ran the serial number on this one and it was made in 1983. This one is in excellent condition with only a few light marks. There is a light "dimple" on the left side of the buttstock (see photos). Otherwise in great condition. Riflings are in excellent shape, bore is very clean. Let me know if you have any questions!
