Ruger No. 1 Rifle in 7x57mm

This is a neglected Number 1 in the versitile 7x57mm Mauser caliber. The barrel has scatered areas of minor rust which was most likely caused by storage in a fleese lined gun case and was not proprly cleaned before storage, This type of long term storage will cause this and should never be done. The damage is minor and does not effect the operation of the gun in any way and is strictly cosmetic. In any case, the gun has been discounted hundreds of dollars and if one is more interested in performance than looks money can be saved in the purchase. It comes with Ruger 1 inch rings and sling swivels.  The wood is in very good condition with a minimum of blemishes. It has the original Red Recoil [ad and was made in 1981.  It has a 22 inch barrel that has been expertly shortened with an excellent bore. A bargan for a hunter that wants performance first.
