Description:
This is a custom Ruger 10/22 that has been professionally converted to run .22 Short ammunition using a Volquartsen target barrel and Volquartsen short-stroke bolt.
The barrel is a fluted stainless target profile with a threaded muzzle and protector, and the action cycles flawlessly with .22 Short ammo. The receiver, trigger group, and magazine are standard Ruger components, while the precision Volquartsen parts provide outstanding accuracy and reliability in this unique configuration.
The rifle retains an excellent factory walnut stock with crisp checkering and a factory Ruger buttplate. It’s topped with a Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40 scope in matching rings — bright, clear, and ready for small-bore precision or quiet varmint work.
