Ruger Model 77 Mark II Bolt Action Rifle in .243 Winchester Caliber **LNIB - Box and Rings - Beautiful Stainless Steel**
Description: Here we have a LNIB Ruger Model 77 Mark II bolt action rifle in .243 Winchester caliber. This beautiful stainless steel rifle is fitted into an all weather synthetic stock making this a fine hunting rig for inclement weather. The Ruger 77 action is based on the Mauser action with claw style extractor. Integrated scope mount slots are milled into the top of the receiver allowing mounting with fewer individual parts making an extremely solid mount. The Mark II introduced a three position safety that in the middle setting allows the bolt to operated but is still in a safe condition allowing the rifle to be unloaded in a safe manner. The release for the hinged floorplate is at the front of the trigger guard. Checkering in stock is sharp and grippy and the action is smooth and sure. The trigger is good with a crisp break. Sling studs would make attachment of a sling a simple matter. This rifle appears to be unfired and there are no signs that the rings have ever been mounted. This fine Ruger would make an excellent deer rifle for a recoil shy shooter or a great varmint swhacker.
