Description:
This Ruger M77 was made in 1970. This was during the time when Ruger was still using Douglas, not Wilson barrels. The Douglas barrels were considered superior and were known for sub MOA groups. This rifle is in very good overall condition. There are some rust spots on the top of the barrel above the forend. The existing but pad is the original that came with the rifle and shows wear but is still flexible. Action appears to function properly mechanically. The wood is in very good condition with only minor handling marks and scratches. These early M77 rifles were known for their value and accuracy in 1970, and that still holds true now. .308 Winchester
