Ruger designed the Marksman Adjustable trigger for the American Rifle to be user adjustable for weight-of-pull. The stock features molded-in Power Bedding recoil/bedding blocks to rigidly attach the barreled action to the stock and free-float the barrel. A soft rubber recoil pad absorbs recoil considerably. The Predator model features a heavier tapered barrel to aid in long-range shooting and is threaded (5/8"-24). The barrel is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultraprecise rifling for exceptional accuracy.
