In 1983 Ruger produced a small number of Ruger #1 rifles chambered in .357 Magnum for the California Highway Patrol 50th Ann. The low production number single shot rifles featured the CHP emblem on the left side of the Receiver. Gorgeous Walnut checkered furniture. Ruger made a small handful of overruns with no CHP emblems on the receiver, this is one of the overrun rifles. A True Unicorn Ruger #1 in .357 Magnum, in pristine unfired condition in the hand numbered overrun box with manual and warranty papers. Ser # 132-46590 Model 01359 CHPO/RUN 1/200 -(MEANING NOT Marked CHP, by serial number should be rare overrun)  - No scope rings or sling swivels. For the discerning #1 Ruger collector.
