Falling-block single shot rifle with a 26-inch round blued steel medium barrel that is chambered for the .22 Hornet cartridge and is built with a quarter rib with integral scope mounts which a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10 x 40 scope with Duplex reticle is fitted. Top of the barrel is roll marked "BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM // STURM, RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A." and near the frame on the left side ".22 HORNET" is roll marked and stamped Ruger Proof Mark ("R" with a Reversed "P" inside an oval). The top of the frame ring is marked "RUGER No1" while the bottom left side of the frame has the rifle's serial number. The rifle is fitted with a curved Farquharson style lever and serrated sliding tang safety. The feather crotch American walnut buttstock is fitted with a pistol grip, steel blued grip cap with golden Ruger Logo, 2-panel borderless point pattern checkering and stud for sling on the toe line and forearm. The semi-beavertail forearm is similarly checkered. The length of pull is 13-5/8" to a 1/2" red Ruger rubber recoil pad.
