This is a very nice commemorative Number 1, recognizing the 50th Anniversary of the Sturm, Ruger & Co. a lever action falling block rifle in .45-70 Govt. The butt stock is a checkered grip hardwood pistol grip with a black steel cap. The forearm is a checkered grip hardwood. It has a 22-inch barrel. A raised blade front sight and a folding adjustable notch middle sight. It has a cantilever scope mount base. This one features a walnut stock with nice grain and figure, and with Alex Henry fore end. The metal is tastefully engraved and filled with gold. This one could pass for new and appears unfired. .45-70 Government
