SALE PENDING. $1,695.00 or best offer. This listing is for a pre owned, nearly new condition RUGER NO. 1B SINGLE SHOT RIFLE IN CAL. .22 HORNET. This rifle has the 26" barrel and is not the newer light weight Sporter rifle with the 22" barrel. This rifle weighs approx. 9 lbs. and is a very accurate varmint rifle. This rifle was made in 1996, per the Ruger (Serial no. 133-28968). The rifle has a very low round count of less than 75 rounds (all factory ammo, no reloads), as I bought it in like new unfired condition. This rifle fires very close, well centered groups and does not have the vertical stringing shot pattern that some No.1 rifles have. I added the Hi Quality and very desirable EABCO Extended scope rail for Weaver style scope ring bases, which fits right over the original Ruger rear sight rib (the Ruger rear sight rib is still in place under the new rail). The rail allows the use of a much wider range of longer scopes that have larger objective bells and gives the shooter far more slots to adjust for the scope position to the shooter's eye ( eye relief adjustment). It currently retails for $69.95 and solves the biggest compliant of the original Ruger fixed scope bases! My rifle is well proven in both function and accuracy. Why buy a rifle from a seller who has never even fired the gun? No box or papers or scope rings are included.
