Hardwood stock, new in the box and never fired, obtained from the Outdoor Life Magazine Editor Jim Carmichel, he received it directly from Bill Ruger, factory invoice in box, serial number 13, in original box with all of the goodies that it shipped with from the factory, Jim is undoubtedly the most accomplished outdoor writer of our era, he and Bill Ruger were the very best of friends and Bill would send Jim serial number 13 of every model that Ruger produced. A rare opportunity to obtain a very one-of-a-kind special gun with unquestionable provenance, an extremely rare model, a letter from our factory historian will also accompany this gun upon purchase.
