VERY HARD TO FIND AND LIMITED PRODUCTION MODEL 77 AFRICAN EXPRESS RIFLE, IN .375 H&H MAGNUM, MADE 1994. These out of production Model 77 bolt rifles (made from 1990-2010) are considered the most beautiful ever produced by Ruger. They are stocked in premium-grade Circassian walnut with an ebony forend tip. They also feature a quarter rib with one standing and two folding express sights. This early example has the desirable barrel band sling swivel and three position safety. Interestingly, these do not have been marked with all the awful warning stampings on the barrel urging the shooter to read owner’s manuals etc. etc. Perhaps Ruger figured anyone buying such a superb rifle would know what he or she is about… and not need to be told that one should not point the muzzle at one’s head and pull the trigger…! Anyway, this one is topped with a fine Leupold VX II 3-9X variable scope in Ruger rings. Overall, this rifle with heavy 24” barrel is like new condition and seems to have seen little to no use. Weighs approx. 11 lbs set up as is which is about right for soaking up recoil. With this rifle and scope combination one could hunt any game anywhere on the planet and be well armed! These don't turn up often...in fact, if I didn't have one identical to this I'd have kept this one!
