RUGER M-77R with Weaver Scope chambered in .270 Winchester, Tang Safety, Made in 1985. I sold this rifle brand new to a friend of mine who wanted to hunt Deer here in Utah. I mounted his Weaver scope and boresighted it. I went with him to the range where we fine tuned it to shoot 1 1/2 inches high at 100 yards. I remember getting some sub 1" groups that day when I shot it. His groups were a little larger, but he was new to shooting from a bench. I showed him how to remove the bolt and clean the bore from the breech to protect the muzzle. When the deer hunt came, we went hunting and he shot a small fork horn buck. He was thrilled and happy.
I do not believe that this rifle has been shot more than 20 rounds from that day to this. As far as I know, he did not go hunting again and the rifle stayed in its case. He retired about 10 years ago and sold me the rifle when he and his wife moved into a townhome.
There are several small marks in the stock that are not deep. The metal looks very good but does have a few small scratches. There is some slight wear on the bluing at the muzzle from being put in a case. All of these things show up clearly in the photos. The scope is bright and clear but I would recommend replacement in order to take advantage of the flat shooting 270. The action works properly and the bore looks excellent. This one still has the original red Ruger Buttpad and also has the desireable tang safety. 
This is a rifle that begs to be taken hunting and used. It already has some bumps and scratches and would serve you well in the field. It is a great all around caliber and you can find ammo for sale everywhere. I have also put a very reasonable price on it.

PAYMENT - I can accept cashier’s checks, bank checks, or personal checks (pending verification of funds), or money orders. I can also accept payment via Zelle and can ship almost immediately after receipt and confirmation.
My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish, St George, Utah, 435-674-4008) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. There will be No private sales on firearms!

SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.

RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges both ways. Please ask questions.
Return Policy Guidelines of GunsInternational  Unless the buyer and seller agree to modify, as may be the case in a new gun, layaway, international sales and for used guns and accessories it must be clearly marked in the listing as No Return, the return policy is three (3) calendar days from the day the item(s) are received by the buyer or delivered to the FFL acting for the buyer.   The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period.  The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges.  On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller.  Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued.  Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s).  The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc.  The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer.  This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled.  Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period. Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund. Recommendation: Confirm purchase with all details via the Contact Seller form within the listing and print out the listing for your records. Industry standard is that if a buyer fails to perform on a layaway that any monies deposited are forfeited.  GunsInternational recommends all layaways are agreed in writing. Any modification of the 3 day return policy must be in writing by both buyer and seller.
