Description: Ruger Model 77 Magnum .375 H&H Magnum. Made in 2006, serial 750-05843 has a 23-inch barrel (.755-inch muzzle diameter) with a banded & scalloped front sight base topped by a brass-beaded blade, banded sling swivel stud and a quarter rib rear sight (serrated flat, one fixed express leaf with sighting line and two U-notched folders). The action has integral mount bases, a three-position safety and steel bottom metal (inside-the-bow release button). The AA-grade English walnut stock is formalized with an ebony forend tip, panel checkering, crossbolt, steel grip cap and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Metal finish is rust blue and the wood is a complimentary satin. Magazine capacity is five rounds (four plus one) and the bolt closes over a single-fed round with ease. Feeding/extraction/ejection is positive and effortless. OPTIC: A Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x36mm scope (1-inch tube, matte finish, Duplex reticle, .25-MOA adjustment clicks) rides in Ruger mounts (front mount is extended). DIMENSIONS: Weight is 11.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 14.0 inches. CONDITION: The bore is pristine. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent with a few tiny freckles on the right side of the chamber and floor plate along with trace thinning on the grip cap. Wood is also approximately 97 percent, with a minor void in the ebony (top right at barrel line) and a few handling impressions. Mechanics are solid.
