Description: Here we have a very nice Ruger Mini 14 semi auto rifle in .223 Remington caliber. Simple, rugged, Garand-style action with breech bolt locking system, a fixed-piston gas system and self-cleaning moving gas cylinder gives unparalleled reliability under harsh operating conditions. This particular example is one of the tactical models with folding pistol grip composite stock, blade front sight and ghost ring rear sight. The cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. The 16.12" barrel is bright with strong rifling and a flash suppressor at the muzzle. The folding pistol grip stock makes this a very packable backcountry and walkabout carbine. There is some wear on the stock and a few marks on the barrel. The rear sight has had just a little wear on the front of the right side as seen best in photo 18. Overall this fine Ruger is in very good physical and mechanical condition. Everything on this rifle works as it should and the action is smooth and sure. The cap on the bottom of the pistol grip is removable allowing storage of a few small items. This would make an excellent pack rifle as a result of the composite folding stock and stainless steel construction. One magazine comes with the rifle but no box.
