Ruger 44 Mag International Mannlicher 1st Year 1966 Production RARE Beauty
Description:
For sale is a very rare Ruger 44 mag variation. The internationals were only produced for two years from 1966 to 1967. This rifle is in excellent condition as you can tell from the photos and would be a great addition to anyone's collection. The the walnut grain and coloration varies slightly throughout the mannlicher stock in color. It has beautiful grain and retains it's original finish. It comes with Weaver rings and a wideview Redfield (1 3/4 x5) scope that is period correct. The bluing on the rifle and scope are original and in great condition. There are no cracks or deep scratches in wood, just a couple minor surface blemishes. The Ruger 44 carbines were produced from 1961 to 1984 and I believe less than 4000 were internationals. I would rate this firearm 95% which is impressive considering it's roughly 60 years old. It's a gem!
