RUGER .44 MAGNUM CARBINE SERIAL NUMBER WITH NO DASH-NO PREFIX: 100246 made in 1965. Incredibly nice overall: walnut stock is superb and the original bluing is extra nice in 98% condition, the bore is bright and glossy. The black paint on the factory original butt plate has mostly worn off but could easily be completely stripped or refinished. (very minor issue). This is a 44R early standard model with no checkering, barrel band at front of forehand, ivory-looking white insert in front sight, original rear sight and cross button safety. There are no cracks, scratches or damage on stock...very nice; frame factory drilled and tapped for scope mounts which are in place but can easily be removed. The rear of the barrel has also been tapped for greater variance. The sling is high quality adjustable leather by Montana. (one of the best). The pictures tell it all.
