RUGER MODEL 96-44 MAGNUM LEVER ACTION CARBINE, #640-14XXX. These handy 18" barrel carbines were made in .22LR, .22 Mag., .17 HMR and .44 Magnum. All were fairly limited production guns only made from 1996-2009 that are now very difficult to locate. Only the center fire .44 Mag. Model featured a case colored lever and integral rail on the receiver top for scope mounting. The 96-44 is probably the most in demand and hardest to find now. This one is in about new condition. Aside from one tiny scratch on the right side above the trigger that you have to look carefully to find, it only needs a box! I rarely see these in any caliber and in any condition.
