Ruger Mini-14, Ranch Rifle, Semi-Automatic, .223 Caliber
Description: Ruger Mini-14, Ranch Rifle, semi-automatic, .223 caliber. Other specifications include: - Hardwood stock/forend - 18 ½ barrel - Satin stainless-steel metal finish - Front sight blade - Adjustable aperture rear sight - 38-inch overall length - 7 pounds unloaded weight - M1 Garand-style safety - Satin stainless-steel receiver - Black flat metal butt plate - 12.75-inch length of pull - 6-pound pull weight The overall condition of this rifle is 95 percent. The finish on metal is like new, except for a shiny ring around the barrel, about 4 ½ inches from the muzzle. The wood stock/forend is in very good condition, but there is a lot of small, shallow dents on the bottom of the forend, where it apparently was rested on a hard support of some kind. There is also denting on the left side of the stock below the receiver. There is lesser denting on the stock (both sides), with a significant 2-inch dent on the right side and two significant 1-inch dents on the left side, along with a one-inch scrape that tapers into a dent. With the exception of that one-inch scape, none of the dents are through the finish. There is some finish discoloration where the wood meets the butt plate, and one 1/3 inch spot on the toe exposing some bare wood. The black metal butt plate has some chipping along its edge and significant scratching on the toe and heel (more on the toe than the heel), where the rifle was apparently rested on a hard surface, like gravel, asphalt, concrete, or something similar. Accessories include: one 5-round magazine, one 10-round magazine, two 20-round magazines, and one black Midway USA fabric case. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays USPS Priority mail ($40) and insurance, if desired. Insurance for the full value of the gun would be $10.60 ($4.60 for the first $300 of insurance, plus $6.00 ($1.20 for each additional $100 of insurance (rounded up) above the first $300 dollars)). I will accept a personal check, but will hold the gun until it clears. I will also accept USPS money order, which I do not have to hold, as it clears immediately. I will accept other type money orders, but will hold gun until they clear. Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall. SOLD |
