Description:
The Ruger Ranch Rifle was conceived as a replacement for the venerable lever action for controlling vermin/pests on the farm and ranch. The ranges tend to be a bit short, but the Ranch Rifle is chambered in fast and flat shooting cartridges that require little in the way of ballistics calculation and are primarily point and shoot. Generally, there is low noise so as not to disturb stock unduly, and there is little recoil. The Mini-14 was based upon the Garand action, and is very reliable having been employed in several military weapons. This one is in excellent condition. It doesn't appear to have been fired much, and the sood is sound, the metal clean. .223 Remington
