Regardless of which manual applies to this Mini14, both manuals say, "The Ranch Rifle is designed to use either standardize U.S. military or factory loaded sporting .223 (5.5 6mm) cartridges manufactured in accordance with U.S industry practice." The overall condition of this rifle is 99 percent. I hesitate to call anything 100 percent that is not New-In-The-Box. The finish on the metal is like new. The wood stock and forend is also like new. There is a small amount scuffing on the magazine, but not much. The owner said he bought it new at a gunshow 17 years ago, fired a couple of boxes through it, and it has been sitting in his safe. The condition of the gun supports this - it obviously has been handled very little.
