Ruger Ninety-Six 22 LR Lever 18.5" BRL 10 Rd Mag Excellent Bore Made in 1996 1st Year of Production
Description:
The Ruger Model Ninety-Six is a lever-action rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It features an 18-inch barrel and a 10-round capacity using Ruger’s rotary magazine system. The rifle is built with a walnut stock and a blued steel finish. Adjustable sights are fitted, including a rear flip-up assembly. This configuration represents Ruger’s first-year production for the Model 96, manufactured in 1996.
This rifle is used. The bore condition is described as excellent, with strong rifling and bright interior surfaces. The bluing shows minor marks consistent with handling, and the walnut stock has smooth surfaces with a localized area of damage - please see the last 2 pics of the Rifle. The metal crescent butt plate remains intact. The lever action operates with standard Ruger geometry and linkage for the model series. Serial number 620-02933 identifies this example as part of the initial production run.
Included is one factory 10-round rotary magazine. No additional accessories or packaging are specified. The rifle retains its original adjustable sight components and factory stock hardware. Overall configuration corresponds to Ruger’s standard Model 96 .22 LR lever-action rifle as produced in 1996.
