The Sako S20 is a modern bolt-action rifle designed to bridge the gap between a traditional hunting rifle and a precision-shooting platform, creating what Sako describes as a true “hybrid rifle.”  Introduced in 2020, the S20 is built around a rigid aluminum chassis system enclosed within a modular stock design, providing exceptional strength, repeatable accuracy, and adaptability for a wide range of shooting applications.  Sako developed the S20 using concepts derived from its renowned TRG precision rifle platform, giving it an excellent reputation for accuracy while retaining the practical handling characteristics required for hunting in the field.  The rifle features a three-lug bolt with a short 60-degree lift, a 24" match-grade cold hammer-forged barrel, an adjustable trigger, and an ergonomic stock system that can be tailored to the individual shooter.  One of the S20's most notable features is its modular architecture, allowing shooters to interchange stocks, forends, and accessories to configure the rifle for hunting, long-range shooting, or precision competition.
