Sako 85 Classic Long action chambered for the venerable .375 H&H.  Sako has long been known for their extremely accurate rifles with “butter” smooth actions, crisp triggers, fast lock times and magnificent fit and finish. This big bore is no exception. The .375 is often regarded as a dangerous game caliber for African safaris but it is also very popular in North America for bear, moose, elk and caribou.  This rifle is fitted with a Swarovski 1.5-6x42 Habicht scope on Leupold QR rings and bases making it a perfect rifle/scope ensemble.  Without the scope the rifle weighs 7 ¾ lbs. and has a 14” LOP.  The factory 24.5” barrel has a 1/12” rate of twist.  Overall condition is “like new”..no blemishes, no finish flaws, no blue wear AND it comes in the original box as seen in one of the photos.  As to the finishes:  The metal is a matte blue and the stock is finished in a matte finish as well..no unwarranted reflecting surfaces!  This is an ideal big game rifle.  Buy it as an ensemble with the scope or buy the rifle separately.
