The Finnwolf is one of the most sought-after Sako models, combining traditional lever-action handling with Sako’s renowned precision engineering. These rifles are no longer produced and have become increasingly collectible, especially in original configuration.
This example features striking figured walnut, particularly through the buttstock, with strong flame and rich color that stands out immediately. The rifle retains its classic Sako styling, including factory checkering, original iron sights, and Sako scope ring mounts.
The metal surfaces retain a strong original finish with light, even handling wear and no significant pitting. The action is clean, and the rifle maintains excellent mechanical integrity.
The stock shows attractive figure throughout, with typical field-use wear, including scattered handling marks and more noticeable wear on the fore-end. These marks are cosmetic and consistent with a rifle that has seen honest use, while still presenting very well overall—especially from the primary display side.

Condition: Good to very good condition. Metal retains a strong original finish with light wear. Stock features attractive figured walnut with scattered handling marks and more pronounced wear on the fore-end consistent with field use. Mechanically sound and presents very well overall. There is a minor hairline crack. A professional gunsmith took the gun apart, the first half inch was cracjked throuh the rest is supperficial. He glued and pinned the stock.
