Description:
Sako L579 Forester in .243 Deluxe Grade with the characteristic skip line checkering, rosewood forend tip and pistol grip cap, and engraved floorplate/trigger guard of the Deluxe Model. It has a 23.5" barrel, the Wood and Metal are a strong 99%, makes a stunning apperance. Circa 1962, Bofars Steel, bore bright, The Scope is a Leopold 3 X 9 Vari X II , the scope mounts show wear, the gun does not. The recoil pad was replaced as it compressed over the years.
