This is an UNFIRED since leaving the factory in 1970 Sako L579 Forester heavy barrel bolt action rifle in .22-250 caliber. I purchased this rifle in 1996 from a Sako Collectors Association member who said that he had never fired the gun. I have not fired the gun since I have owned it. It comes with the original box and the original sling swivels. It has a 24 inch barrel and no sights. It has the original Sako buttplate and checkered gloss walnut semi-beavertail forearm.There is only 1 nick on the stock of this gun. it is on the right side at the bottom where the forearm widens. It is barely noticeable. This gun was manufactured in 1970 and imported by Firearms International Corporation of Washington, DC. I accept payment by Zelle or check.
