These are limited production premium rifles produced by Sako master gunsmiths. Beautifully made one by one with an eye for detail and perfection, the Sako 85 Safari will appeal to the most discerning bolt action rifle connoisseurs. A classic handmade safari stock is finished with a custom made Pachmayr recoil pad. That is why each Sako Safari hunting rifle is hand-finished and the barreled action is epoxy-bedded to the rifle stock to provide the best and most durable fit and accuracy. The presentation grade walnut stock features traditional hand cut checkering with an ebony fore-end tip and pistol grip cap. The barrel is hand polished for a brilliant shine. The adjustable iron sights of the Sako 85 Safari model feature quarter rib, rear blade shallow-V and band type front sight with ivory white bead. Metal finish is ultra high lustre. The production of the Sako Model 85’s has been discontinued including all Safaris.
