Description: Sako Safari in the great 375 H&H magnum. Sako’s Safari Rifle is built around the Sako 85 Large and XL action. These actions offer traditional Sako 85 features such as: mechanical ejection, controlled round feed, an integral dovetail scope mount rail and a one-piece forged bolt. The walnut stock incorporates traditional hand-cut checkering and an ebony fore-end tip and pistol grip cap. A recoil pad completes the classic appearance of the handmade Safari stock. In the past the action had a Griffin & Howe scope base. The scope base mounting holes have been Filled and blued. The rest of the metal was not reblued. These Sako Safari rifles are a tremendous bargain, a true custom rifle in the great 375 H&H caliber.
