Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum, manufactured in West Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn for Colt's Patent Firearms Mfg. Co., Hartford, Connecticut. Serial number CR23299, placing production in the early 1980s during the rifle's 1973–1985 U.S. import run.

Metal: Excellent. Approximately 99% original deep blue with only minor handling marks and light cycling wear on the bolt body. Bore is bright and sharp.
Wood: Very good to excellent overall. Stock displays exceptional figure with strong fiddleback grain through the buttstock — well above average for the model. Checkering remains crisp. No cracks at the wrist or tang noted.
Mechanics: Excellent. Bolt cycles smoothly. Trigger crisp. Safety functions properly.
