Description: J.P. Sauer Single Shot Rifle – 7x57R (1938) Complete Turnbull Restoration Offered is a high-quality J.P. Sauer single shot rifle chambered in 7x57R, manufactured in 1938 and Nitro proofed. This rifle has received a complete Turnbull restoration and presents tight and crisp—locks up like a new gun. The action features a double underbite lockup with an additional Greener-style third fastener, providing excellent strength and stability. The rifle retains excellent case colors and deep blue, consistent with Turnbull’s well-known restoration standards. The octagon-to-round barrel measures 23 3/4" and has an excellent bore. Equipped with a fully functional set triggerand top tang safety. Mounted scope is engraved: “G / DRGM / Dr. W. Gerard / Charlottenburg” Optics are clear, featuring two vertical posts and one horizontal post, all of equal thickness, with the horizontal post not touching the verticals. Specifications & Details:
