Description: JP Sauer pre-war Drilling in 16/16/8X57. Heavily engraved with detailed traditional German game scenes. Well made drilling with; scalloped and bolstered receiver, sideclips, three cocking indicators, front set trigger, double underbite bolting system and a Greener style third fastener. Mirror perfect bores. Shotgun chambers are 2 3/4". Rifle barrel has well defined lands and groves and a perfect chamber. Barrels are 26". Factory claw mounting system with a Hensoldt - Wetzlar Dural Dialytan 4X Scope. Optics are crystal clear. Post and two side bar reticle system. Blue wear on the rear portion of the trigger from handling. No cracks to wood / tight on face / no loose ribs. Typical drilling set up with rifle barrel actuation by top tang lever. Upon actuation of the rifle barrel rear sight is elevated. Weight of the gun is 8 LBS 8 3/4 OZ with scope attached and 7 LBS 10 1/4 OZ without. LOP is 13 7/8".
