Description: Savage model 1899 takedown in 250-3000 caliber. This model has the pistol grip, checkered stock, corrugated steel buttplate and fine cross checkered trigger. This model was made from 1914-1921 and this rifle has a factory letter stating in was made in 1915. This all original rifle is in amazing shape for its age with approximately 90% bluing and light normal wear to the wood.and supports a time period correct tang sight as a bonus. Buckhorn rear sight.
