For sale is a near mint savage 99-C chambered in 308 winchester, a common caliber in these rifles but hard to find in collector condition as alot of these rifles turned into someone's favorite hunting rifle. This one is not far from perfect with just a few handling marks on the wood, the metal is just about perfect, see pictures.This rifle was never drilled for sling swivels which is another rare occurrence as most of them had slings added on them.
rifle has a 22" barrel and these rifles have a detachable magazine rather than the rotary magazine these 99s were known for if you didn't already know.
